As an educator specializing in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) and a seasoned engineer, the world of experiments and hands-on learning is an integral part of my everyday life. It is with great excitement that I bring my skills and knowledge to our students here at Northwest Bilingual School. My mission is to empower our young minds by imparting a deep understanding of the realms of science, technology, engineering, and math through engaging STEAM activities, experiments, and projects – all while having an absolute blast along the way!
My primary objective is to make these subjects not only accessible but also thrilling for our students. I wholeheartedly believe that learning is most impactful when it’s enjoyable. My classroom will be a place where curiosity thrives, where challenges are embraced, and where the pursuit of knowledge is ignited by the joy of discovery.
Elementary STEAM Education at NWBS
In the elementary department, our STEAM education program serves as a solid foundation for young learners to explore the worlds of science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on activities and captivating projects. By bridging theory and practice, our students gain not only knowledge but also a host of essential skills that will prove invaluable in their daily lives. These skills encompass critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, project management, and innovative thinking, among others.
Our overarching goal is to inspire a love for learning that lasts a lifetime. The elementary STEAM program at NWBS is designed to empower students with the tools they need to confidently face the future, equipped with a deep-rooted understanding of these fundamental disciplines.
As we approach the upcoming academic year, I am filled with anticipation for the growth and achievements that await our students. Together, let us embark on a journey that promises excitement, discovery, and remarkable educational adventures.
